Arriving late was definitely something I foresaw given the traffic situation of KL and PJ but to miss the entire performances of the opening acts was not something I would have expected. However, being greeted by an entire horde of mass proclaiming how a person’s sexuality would define how corrupt the society would become, and walking through it all first hand, now that is an experience and that is another story altogether =)

Hehe a big thank you once again to Sony Music Malaysia and Marctensia, and of course DiGi that I managed to check out Adam Lambert live up on stage and boy it was legendary. I mean, seeing him performing on TV is definitely different compared to watching it live. Definitely American Idol material and on a personal note, I still think that he should have won =p

Belting out awesome vocals that even my legendary high pitched voice (Jen can vouch for that!) can’t fight, I was awesomely impressed by it (yes I was!). Atmosphere was amazing, people were cheering, dancing, screaming and yes the hardcore fans all glammed up in glitter and, well glits!

The opening acts as were told by my friends were pretty awesome as well, especially when Daniel Lee and Dennis Lau sang Bon Jovi’s ‘It’s My Life’. Now how about that, missing out on that especially when it was actually Dennis Lau performing it with a Violin did bum me out! Whomever has a recording of it, lemme know cause I wanna watch it!

Well, I arrived just in the nick of time, about half an hour before Adam started where he banged it up with Voodoo and seriously, that costume was the bomb!

Of course I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing one of those but seriously, I would love to have one of those haha!

Only about a couple of costume changes, the one that blew me away was still the opening costume. ‘If I Had You’ was amazing where everybody danced to it and in my opinion, it would have been the perfect ending as well buuuttt, the encore with his rendition of ‘Mad World’ and ’20th Century Boy’ was certainly eye opening mixed with some powerful electric guitar presence.

Ok, pictures pictures pictures. You wouldn’t want me to blab about the concert only right =p!

2010 has been a year of concerts and glamorous events. From so many different concerts held, to many different artists performing in this country, even American Idols coming over to perform and rocking this place out!

Kris Allen was the first, held at The Gardens in February where I even got to meet him in person (and took a picture with!). Was not really a Kris Allen fan as mentioned here but when anybody whom is from the American Idol reality series performing, you are guaranteed a performance that will blow you away, literally.

Kelly Clarkson came soon after in April where it was held in Bukit Jalil and yes, being the first ever American Idol and I am definitely a big fan boy (so sue me!) I loved her show to bits! Who cares if she didn’t exactly dressed up, who cares if she wasn’t wearing any shoes on stage. What matters was, she totally blew the crowd away, especially when everyone at the concert was singing, dancing and rocking to ‘My Life Would Suck Without You’.

And now to rock KL even more, guess who will be coming over? (big hint: post title!)

Yes I know that by now, everybody would have shrieked to the news all over radio/tv/newspaper/blogs that Adam Lambert will be down in KL, rocking it out on the 14th October 2010 presented Live by DiGi with the organizers, Marctensia and Sony Music Malaysia at the Putra Indoor Stadium, Bukit Jalil.

He might not be the winner of American Idol, but this guy is definitely big. Being played all over MTV and Channel V, and even over almost all radio channels, this dude might even be bigger than the winner himself over at this part of the world.
